CVF Upgrade Kit

If you have a CVF focuser, it's easy to upgrade to a Series IV 'Stiletto !

Since the CVF Series II and the Series IV 'Stiletto' share many common components, it is easy to upgrade your CVF for true knife-edge deep-sky astrophotography. For this purpose, we offer a special Stiletto Upgrade Kit. This include:

  • a Series IV 'Stiletto'body
  • a Series IV 25mm Plossl eyepiece

In use, you simply unscrew the camera bayonet assembly from the CVF focuser, and attach it to the Series IV body.  In this configuration, only the 300 LPI ronchi screen and True Knife-edge screen should be used in the camera mount.
