The CVF Trinocular system enables the microscopist to conveniently take extremely high-resolution photographs through a trinocular using a 35mm DSLR or film camera.
The system is composed of two independent components : (1) a high quality right-angle positionable camera adapter which attaches to the trinocular tube; and (2) a Critical Visual Focuser specifically designed to match the camera.
A simple swap-in, swap-out focusing procedure is followed . The CVF focuser attaches to the right-angle camera adapter during focusing, and then is replaced by your camera on the adapter to take the actual picture. Resolution of resulting photographs is below the resolution of the pixels in the digital camera itself.
The CVF Trinocular Sytem is available for any trinocular microscope meeting DIN standards and is available for any 35mm camera brand.
