CVF Series II Focusers

CVF Series II Instruments are designed for daytime or nightime use. It is the appropriate focuser to choose for solar, nature, planetary, wildlife, lunar, portrait, or microphotography. Using the knife-edge and/or the 300 LPI ronchi screen, it is also effective for deep-sky imaging.

The CVF is ready to use out of the box!

These are complete CVF units. It includes the CVF body, lupe, and the type of camera mount you specify with viewscreen installed. Choose your camera brand from the pulldown menu.

If you would like to use the CVF with other camera brands, just add on Additional CVF Camera Mounts as listed below.

Use the CVF with your other cameras too!

Once you order a CVF package above, you can use it with other brand cameras as well. All you need is to order the proper CVF camera mount for it. All CVF mounts screw into the same CVF body and are precalibrated with a focusing screen of your choice already installed.

CVF Upgrade Kit

For those who already own a Series IV focuser, this kit for the CVF Series II will allow focusing during daylight hours also. The kit includes two lupes, Spotlight and CrossHair screens. carrying case, and CVF body. Just use the Stiletto bayonet mount you already have and you're ready to go!

Series IV 'Stiletto' Upgrade Kit

For those owning a CVF Series II and wish to add the versatility of the Series IV body for nightime focusing, this kit is for you. Just screw your CVF bayonet mount into the Series IV body, change to a ronchi or knife-edge screen, and you're ready for deep-sky focusing. Includes body and eyepiece.
