Below are some photos taken with DSLRs using a Series IV 'Stiletto'' to focus. Congratulations and thanks to all of the contributors! (Click on the thumbnails to enlarge.)
"The focuser arrived on Monday and I was able to use it with my 10D and Brandon 130 APO last night...The seeing was a 2/5 with boiling images but the focuser worked like a charm. Here's yet another M42--but I doubt I could have gotten this kind of focus (especially easily) with the camera viewfinder and LCD screen."

wanted to update you on my use of the Stilleto IV now that I have had it for 2
months....We've had typical winter weather here in Colorado, ie the clear
nights mean the jet stream is above. However. I've
imaged with a variety of refractors both here in town and up in the
mountains....Because I'm getting such bullet proof focusing with the Stiletto
IV, I 'm stacking upwards of 1hour of exposures in 3 to 5 minute shots with a
Canon 10D...Here are some of the recent results....I think the Stiletto is a
definite plus particularly when you want to ditch the laptop (almost
always....) "
