Manufacturing

At Stellar Technologies International  we strive to maintain the highest standards in manufacturing  despite our small size.  Whenever possible, all components are machined and finished in-house.  From start to finish, the 72 steps to manufacture a Series IV for you is both a serious professional endeavor and a labor of love.  The individual components in our products are each tested and retested to guarantee that the Series IV can be considered a lifetime acquisition by each of our customers worldwide.

The bodies of all of our units are made of die-cast aluminum which is texturized with a long-lasting powdercoat black wrinkle finish.  From initial drilling to final silkscreening, each body is finished to last. A cleaning from time to time with a mild liquid detergent is all the maintenance ever needed.

Special attention is given to the lathing alignment of bayonet mounts and the Stiletto tube assembly to allow for ultra-fine calibration at micro intervals.

Lens assemblies are mounted in the mirror diagonal at the proper focal length, and then laser collimated.

The ronchi screens are mounted in the Stiletto focusing tube and set at the proper film-plane distance to within .001mm using PAV and Mitutoyo digital depth gages. Once assembled, each unit is field tested against a standard unit on the scope and final adjustments performed.

A large inventory of spare parts is kept on hand should repair service ever be necessary. Our turnaround on repair service is normally one working day.

Given all of the above, we not afraid to extend our 30-day clear-sky guarantee to new customers, and a one-year warranty on parts to all customers.
